Upcoming pool sessions in Naperville & Des Plaines:
1. Naperville:
Kayaking will start up again Sunday Nov 15th 9:30-11:30.Last year the cost was $10 with your own kayak and $15 with the rental. The sessions ran every Sunday without exceptions with only one Sunday where the hours had to be changed. The sessions ran for as long as people were willing to show up--into April!
This whole summer the pool was under construction to bring it in compliance with the state athletic requirements. NN pool is the oldest in the area and was too shallow to hold state meets.
2. Des Plaines:
Just a reminder that introductory kayak classes will again be held in Busse Pool at Lattof Y in DesPlains. The first series of 8 sessions begins October 27th - only 2 weeks from today - from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. The cost is $160 for non Y members and $80 for Y members. Call the Y to get information about registering for these classes. 847-296-3376
